Is the U.S. getting ready to invade Iran and the rest of the Middle East? People are going on deployment and Trump likes the Arabs and has now let ISIS reform. Looks like the chaos is getting ready to get serious. Thoughts?

Trump has no idea what he is doing. He has no plan. It's all a knee jerk reaction day by day and a vague idea that the Iranians are bad and the Saudis are good and of course he gave an election pledge to take US troops out of Syria.

Serious and by design. The current holder of the U.S. presidency does not care about the U.S. only cares about himself. He was looked down and rejected by the wealthy families of the U.S. and he is getting his revenge. He will soon get a lot of money for his services and go to live in Russia. We will be left to clean up the mess.

You think Russia wants him, that would be a mess.

@dalefvictor For a while because of services rendered. Then at some point they would kick him out because someone like that does not fit anywhere.

Been thinking the same thing. My grandson is being deployed earlier than expected.

I’ve been watching, waiting and expecting a ‘wag the dog’ incident from him for some time... As his poll numbers plummet, his R’s begin to defect and impeachment nears ..look out somebody!my guess has been N. Korea..

Starting a war with Iran would be a winner in so many ways. I fear it will begin as protection for the Saudis even though we sold them billions of dollars worth of state-of-the-art weapons in the last two years. Leaving Syria, was a thank-you you to Putin. Trump's foreign policy benefits only our enemies. Putin is salivating over the disruption of NATO Trump's support of Turkey created.

Who knows? He makes this shit up as he goes along.

This was probably on his agenda for a long time, hoping for the acquisition of oil.

I never quite understand this sentiment. Maybe you can explain. Are you saying that the US is physically going to take oil from Iran? Or that the US is going to take over the country and move in, make it a territory or something?

@itsmedammit Gain control of it.

It would a great deflection by him away from the Impeachment debacle. I wouldnt put it past him to initiate a war just to deflect attention away from himself.

@mongo1977

not the Impeachment itself, the debacle is the president and the Republican Party. This Administration is the debacle and has disgraced us in the eyes of the world. Republicans are whiney, immoral, cowardly hippocrites.

@mongo1977

He who laughs last laughs best. Hahaha

@mongo1977

I take it you are off your meds again and your overseers are being negligent in letting you out.

@mongo1977

You give back as good as you get. I like that. I'll pull the tab and have drink in your honor. I like a worthy opponent.

Problem is I don't drink and you could care less one way or the other. Hahahaha.

Moving an Expeditionary Air Wing to Saudi would indicate preparation for an invasion.

My thought was that Trump was soon going to start a war with Iran as a way to win the election in 2020.

What happens if he wants to fight a war and the military says No! ?

@dalefvictor Wish they could do that.

The generals follow orders....but they could drag their feet while Congress acts. After all...according to the constitution, congress has the power to make war. @dalefvictor
