I've seen a couple of highschool students come into the restaurant I work with the shirt "May the Lord be with you" (May the force be with you). I'm a Star Wars fan, and my younger, brainwashed self would have deemed this as a very clever and an actual, true statement. But now I think of this as ridiculous and a bit condescending.

maybe you could wear a May the force be with you shirt. brainwashed condescension is the worst. you can't even argue with it. it seems to feed on the resistance.

This also breaks a commandment, as it is vanity. That is, making oneself look good by naming God. This does nothing to the glory of God. I've come to view all such instances as breaking with the teachings of Jesus, like praying in public, or promising in public to pray, etc.... These are all forms of vanity.
