Wrong....Coke et al is 100% responsible for replacing GLASS REUSABLE CONTAINERS with intended THROWAWAYS....it is not sugar caffeine addicts fault their glass bottles WITH DEPOSITS IN 50 STATES were replaced with few states deposit bottles/ cans

Thanks for pointing out it's actually consumers doing the polluting. I would be interested to know what percentage of the total produced got out in the wild. Some people will always pollute, despite -- and sometimes in spite -- of whatever recycling system is put in place.

TLDR I got as far as the explanation for what a bottle bill is. I think this would be largely useless. I would be interested in seeing the stats on this in states where it's already in effect. I think there will always be some percentage of people who just don't care, and will toss their trash anywhere.
