Finally watching Marvel's Endgame and.....nope not trusting any of the deaths here to be permanent. Death here is more like a temporary setback that a final destination. The old man in Monty Python and the Holy was more dead than any character here.

There is still the Blackwidow Origin movie, it will take place in the past, but we we still see more of her.

Sorry about the further spoilers, but- there is another film in this phase of the Marvel film universe that continues the overall setting on, and confirms the aftermath of Infinity War/ Endgame.

Maybe that's just what they WANT you to think.

You know......THEY!

@JayOleck38 You mean THEM????

The people who sign contracts with certain actors, and so they definitely know those particular actors won't be coming back to the series?

The character title may be handed on, in one case at least that's confirmed (and I'm very interested to see how the new character fills that role), but those actors and the characters they played are gone for good. Although, as mentioned above, there is apparently a prequel/origin movie in the works for one of those characters... and, with time travel being a thing, who knows what might happen in the end?

And then there's "The Boys"

Nah, they're dead as far as the MCU timeline is concerned. I think Fiege has plans to replace them with female versions over the next 3-5 years.

There may be some pre infinity war stories. Or time travel stuff. But in the timeline now....they dead.

This is why I don't care for superhero movies. Superheros aren't allowed to actually die, or if they are it's extremely rare, so there really aren't any significant stakes. I walk away feeling like the whole thing was pointeless.

Sorry... I am out of line for saying? "Fuck marvel and dc comics. BullShit Heroes." I feel better now, thank you.

Now that Disney owns Marvel, expect changes with the next phase of
the Marvel Universe.

Several of the actors who portrayed certain characters no longer have
contracts, and have expressed that they have no interest in reprising
said characters.
Changes are coming.

You might see them in various earlier appearing Marvel characters, but past endgame, you'll have a new Captain America and Iron Man. Same with Black Widow.

I've seen bits and pieces so far. Not set down for the entire movie yet.

Note, in the comics they killed off or transformed a lot of characters when they took over from Stan.

The film run is separate, but designed by the self same people.

Thanks for the spoiler alert!

Oops! Sorry about that!
