What's a tornado?? We often get high winds and once in a while a tiny wind vortex appears over a part of the sea but this in almost non-existent here. Lightening is also rare. Sometimes our climate is really boring.

@FearlessFly "Tornadoes rarely hit Washington state," Rarely and almost non-existent are close. I looked up tornadoes in our archipelago and all I got was a couple of water spouts as I suspected.
Also, on the west coast there are no hurricanes. They are called typhoons but again rare where I live.
