I have such mixed feelings about this issue.

When do efforts to protect society actually cause damage to society? How much do we give up in the name of safety? Europeans have been constantly monitored in big cities for decades and their law enforcement has caught many terrorists, etc, using those systems.

I was stunned in London..to see how many cameras were pointed at me. In an early morning walk through Istanbul airport, the cameras visibly followed me. I don't claim to have a definite opinion here--it's not a simple question, is it?
