It's true advising people not to judge is based on judgment. To survive,& certainly to thrive, we must constantly make judgments. It's what the military calls "situational awareness". We must judge things like, "Is this person really my friend or are they trying to cheat me", or "Is this person really competent to do the job or will they screw up " & so on.

A person who fails to judge accurately most of the time is a fool who will hurt themselves & probably others. If we judge correctly, we will stay far away from such a person.

Religious people, as usual, are mouthing naive nonsense that has no basis in real life.

The saying is "Judge not lest you also be judged", but we are constantly judged whether we judge or not, & if we don't judge effectively, we will be judged as incompetent

I think real judgment involves punishment. The other judgment is just observation.
