From an American Tweeter
“I was paying $550/month for health insurance this year.
Then I had an emergency and had to take an ambulance.
I got a bill for $1340. Insurance covers exactly $0 because I haven’t even come close to the $5000 deductible.
Fuck this.“
If you have health insurance but the deductible is so high that you can't pay it, you defacto don't have health insurance.
Don't you have universal health care in Canada? Is your insurance supplemental to what you get for "free"?
@ToolGuy Oh. Yes, thanks.
But can Canadians have private health insurance augmenting their universal care?
