I was most pleasantly surprised a few minutes ago when I turned on my local NPR radio station and heard the old familiar voice of Karl Hass. I am still listening to an hour long recording in which Hass is playing nd discussing beautiful Christmas music from all over Europe.
For years, I spent many enjoyable hours listening to Hass's programs. He had an encyclopedic knowledge of classical music and put together masterful programs. I never thought I would hear that voice again.
