Activists in Lille recently demonstrated against advertising, while Grenoble has replaced hundreds of adverts with trees and noticeboards. Could cities remove ads altogether?

Cities without ads would seem weird to me, but not unwelcome.

I go to considerable lengths to avoid all advertising. ymmv 🙂

@FearlessFly I say it would be weird, but I also think it's one of those "you'll never miss what's missing" things. So it would probably only seem weird once you've realized it.
