I'm about to try indoor rock climbing for the first time. What's the last new thing you've tried?
Bowling on acid, and it was still almost fun!
I can't even imagine what that must have been like! I assume you weren't keeping score...
@Nottheonlyone We were playing in Roswell N.M. for two weeks! After you've seen the aliens, there wasn't much to do, so that is what we came up with. Also, if you were left handed you had to bowl right handed and if left handed......you get it. I'm not sure why we thought we needed an extra degree of difficulty. We probably tried to keep score, but l can't really be sure.
Seperation leading to divorce.
I hope it's a good new thing for you.
Not at the moment because of financial constraints but maybe in the future... @Nottheonlyone
@kmdskit3 May you find at least as much happy as I have. I wish you luck
Thank you for the kind words. @Nottheonlyone
Dating.
Me, too! Scarier than rock climbing!
I've thought about doing that. Let us know what you thought about it.
So much fun! My arms are gonna hurt tomorrow, though!
Agnostic.com. how do you get a mountain into a room?
I'll post a video shortly.
I was joking @Nottheonlyone but id still like to see the video.
@LeighShelton I posted it separately, but I'll put it here, too:
wow joking aside that's really quite high. I bet that's good for your fitness
Awesom, have a great time!...climbed a mountain in Mongolia and spoke with a Golden Eagle..
I tried aerial silks and loved it. Moved and can't find a place nearby to do it anymore.
Some sexual stuff.
Indoor climbing is a contradiction, imo. I'm a dinosaur but it really needs to be done outdoors on actual rock, or it's just a trendy treadmill. To me.
As a first timer, I'd be scared to start outside, particularly in this weather.
@Nottheonlyone I hear you. There was no indoor climbing when I started (1981ish). Weather is just a part of it. Like hiking. It's just vertical hiking and the gym is like walking around the mall. But ignore me and have fun. Check that knot. And remember: Sport Climbing Is Neither!
why didn't you let someone know. I'm an hour - loveplaying tour guide
@sassygirl3869 If I were there by myself I'd have sent out a signal, but I went with a friend to visit another friend. (We were all coworkers a few years ago.) We did a lot — toured the public library (which doesn't sound as impressive as it is), went to the museum of fine arts, ate overpriced food (though Top of the Hub has wonderful ambiance and great view), froze our asses off at the wharf, saw the Cheers bar (overrated), visited Harvard, MIT, and Boston College (main campus and law campus, where my friend is attending law school), went to a beer-cider-cheese tasting, visited a jazz bar (crappy drinks, from what my friends told me, and crappy music from what my ears told me), went to a market near Little Italy and to Mike's Pastry, had tea in Chinatown, went to Fenway (just to say we'd been there, but just wandered the perimeter outside), saw the Curious George store (not sure why that's a thing or why it's just outside the gates to Harvard), went north of the city to check out the (freezing) beach, visited the Tesla store (where the staff, correctly, ignored us), saw a couple of old churches (but didn't go inside because I tend to burn), and did a lot of miscellaneous wandering. I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff, but that covers most of it.
If I ever plan to be in the area again, though, I'll be sure to let you know. ?
sounds like you saw some highlights.
@sassygirl3869 Yeah, we didn't see the aquarium, which I've been told is spectacular, and we didn't do much of the historical stuff (that type of touring isn't really my cup of tea unless it's really targeted and something I'm especially interested in already). But, yeah, we saw a lot otherwise.
waterfall rappelling - after climbing mountain. Unable to complete due to breathing that day.
