Gay people have just as much right to make stuff up, as straight people. Xtianity is based on picking and choosing whatever made up, or borrowed, evidence you want. No reason gay people can't decide their version of xtian doctrine is the right one, and the rest of xtians are wrong. Its literally what every sect does.

Religion is all about self hate with enough narcissism in it to justify your existance. You're a worthless, filthy piece of crap tainted by sin from birth, nothing you can do about it - but god loves you and look at everything he'll do for you, you worthless little flawed creature that god adores so much.

The sin isn't the issue - being gay is just one of many, many sins/flaws that a person struggles with to be worthy of that piece of shit god's eternal love.

Its called cherry picking, or in other words. "Not my version." The problem with that though, is that it leads to a basic dishonesty, in that while you can invent your own religion, just as everyone can invent their own morality. You can not then claim that your religion/morality has more authority than the secular morality of honestly secular people, because it is given you by a higher power. But of course they do.

And when once you let that much cognitive dissonance into you life, then all honesty flies out the other door.
