It's 8 in the morning and it is already 72F, it will be a scorchers today, 105.8 is being predicted. I have to close all the windows as the smoke from the fires is already being felt.

Instead of envying all you downunder, I’ve had only fear and pity … as likely the same climate change/ global warming that’s burning your continent ..is giving us as mild and near pleasurable a winter as I’ve experienced.. Isn’t it the shits when those of us who advocate, work, and vote right … suffer through the same ‘Hell’ as those who don’t, deserve

Oddly enough, there’s a high fire danger warning for eastern Montana this weekend. Temperatures may only get to 50f, but it’s dry, with high winds expected.

Three firefighters from Montana were killed there in a plane crash last week.
Fires like these are terrible.
I hope you manage to keep safe...can’t imagine that kind of heat, hope the aircon is working.

I don't have aircon but my house is very well insulated.

We are on 43 in central Vic today. My concern is the fires will kick off again big time.
