That sham trial was so outrageous that it makes me think the GOP has a plan to stay in power without the nuisance of elections.

That is their goal. From what I have read over the years they want to go back to a feudal system, the rich own everything and we do all the work for nothing. We pray to them they work us until we bleed. A wonderful future for all. Oh, then there is the religious aspect where the rapture takes all the pure believers to heaven leaving the rest of us to deal with the mess they leave. God wants them to take all the money with them, I suppose it buys them a higher place. I hope they get it and hope we have something left to work with. I do not know what happens if the rapture does not happen, they have not thought of that as that would mean they were wrong and that the bible is wrong.
The fix is in. I hope I’m wrong but I doubt that I am.
