Me celebrate???? I'm gonna wonder again how anybody with a modicum of sense and care for others would celebrate how or why a so called "Loving Heavenly Father" somewhere up in the sky would massacre one tribe (Egypts) kids to help his self described tribes kids excape brick making??? why kill innocent first born kids and animals..why not just waterboard the Pharoah personally to "let my people go"??????

Passing it over

I'm letting it just pass over.

Breaking out the Matzos for the kids (their Mum was non-obsevant). Passover is an historical event, like ANZAC day only older.
Obviously we eschew the religion, and, as I'm definitely a goy, any ritual beyond Matzos.
Besides Matzos is better for them than chocolate poisoning.

The same thing I do every passover. Ignore it. It's a waste of time to observe it.

What? Why?

I'm probably going out for sushi or chinese food when my wife is with her mom at the seder with her cousins.

Nothing.

It’s interesting that the majority of the comments on my Passover post knock down the tradition. I think that the religious aspects of this holiday are firmly based on the real history of persecution. I think that as secular Jews, atheists who were born Jews, etc - we have a duty to explore this history and apply it to the persecution faced by humans today. Passover is a great way to open the gates of that conversation. Passing it over seems counter intuitive to me as a Jew.

Going to a seder to be with family.

Hey, that's about what I posted. I always liked to eat these matzos. Never had any religious thoughts with it. Sometimes you like something just because you like something.

not eating matzos thats for sure

Being sick it seems... which hopefully gives me enough of an excuse to not getting involved in stupid family/community easter things. I'll still eat the food though, but screw everything else, I'm staying in bed.

ughhhh, too bad; i'll be out biking for a while anyway
