***"The news anchors on MSNBC have compared Bernie Sanders to Stalin, and even suggested that Bernie would have “cheered” for “executions in Central Park.”
This morning, despite an avalanche of criticism, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough doubled down, this time suggesting that Bernie Sanders was a fan of Benito Mussolini.
“That's like saying Mussolini had the trains running. 'Have you seen the trains?' While people are up on meat hooks all lined up behind the train,” Scarborough said in response to Sanders's comments about Cuba's literacy programs.
The closer we get to November, the more these attacks are sure to continue, as the corporate media unloads on Sanders and any other candidate who dares challenge their massive power by supporting policies like Medicare for All and a wealth tax.
But the corporate media is so terrified of someone who will challenge their power that they are resorting to desperate Cold War-era red baiting, even if that means four more years of Donald Trump."

The corporate media isn't afraid of any candidate. The corporate media will select the winner. That's the winner of the vote - trump will remain in power regardless.
I don't like the trend of labeling anyone who doesn't swear allegiance to Bernie as an enemy. If Bernie is the nominee it will be necessary for millions of evil mainstream Democrats to vote for him.
I don't like the way they are slanting Bernie! I still see MSNBC to be the most watchable cable network. Chris Mathews apologized. They are a mix ultra liberal to middle of the road.
I still believe that they aren't as biased as fox but i can no longer watch. They are a corporate news network and their only real concern is their bottom line. Bernie and any other true progressive is bad for the bottom line so they smear.
I see them as the propaganda wing of the democratic establishment. Their function is to keep left leaning people focused on identity politics, Russia, and political theater meant to distract from whats really going on, as they did with the impeachment.
