Trump knows he beats anybody but Bernie Sanders. . . .

He admitted it at this dinner party back in 2018 that was secretly recorded and recently leaked:

Trump knows...

You sound like you want to be taken seriously, yet you start off with those 2 words.

Thinking in a La La Land.

There is a high anxiety that Bernie, the polarizer and socialist will bring a mayhem to Democrats and hand over Republican supermajority in the House, Senate and all across state houses in the country. Continuing to prop up Bernie as the savior is very dangerous and there will be a very high cost to pay.

Right, let's take Mitch McConnell's word for it. It is well known that he has our best interests at heart.

@RoboGraham
He has been the Darth Vader to Obama, wasn't he? He made Obama a lame duck president for 5 years. Did he not neuter Pelosi's impeachment within a week?

Kevin MacCarthy is already talking about winning the House and issuing subpoenas to democrats in the FBI, CIA etc. Republicans are more confident than ever about gaining full control of Congress. Everybody is talking about it including Democrats who are worried that Bernie will deliver a supermajority in both chambers on a silver platter to Trump in 2020. Deny all you want. Bury your head in the sand but don't say in December 2020 that we did not warn you.

Bernie is a good news for Trump and a bad news for Democrats.

@St-Sinner

Those who are worried are the out of touch corporate democrats such as yourself who are stuck in an obsolete mindset.

@RoboGraham
That is called living in the La La Land. Go back to sleep. We will wake you up in December 2020.

@St-Sinner

Sanders is the longest-serving independent in U.S. congressional history, though he has a close relationship with the Democratic Party. He is a deomcratic socialist. Now if you want to alk about just giving money away, how's billions to farmers harmed by trump's trade war working out. Then there is big oil and the millions in subsidies given away every year. There is plenty of tax payer dollars for Sanders programs but not if we continue with current priorities.
That said it should be apparent by now there is no 2 party system, the dems fear Bearnie because he is what a 2 party system would look like. All of the gop and at least 30% of the dems are making way too much money with trump in the WH and they do not want the gravy train to end. IMHO

Secret recordings prove what I already knew, but the Dem leaders won't admit. Namely that Bernie got screwed in the last primary cycle and that he would have beat Trump in 2016. Too bad we don't have secret recordings of the Dem leaders admitting these things, because I'm sure those things were said in private...

He knows that popular policies like debt relief and universal healthcare will be hard to beat. Even with the advantage that the electoral college gives him.

The Dem leaders know that a centrist candidate with a status quo platform is likely to lose to Trump, but they really don't care about that. They just want to protect the top 1%..
