Never did get the Fish on Friday business. I guess the Friday bit relates to Good Friday but the no meat business I just can’t find a rational connection. (Also too lazy to look it up!)

some truth to that. but I think the lack of rationality signalling devotion level came long after. before we were just genuinely ignorant.
