Back on here after a long time. Alot has happened. I made a mistake at work and lost my job. I can no longer work in the city where Ive established my "forever home" for my son. Ive been interviewing all over and driving an hour for work. I will start a new job an hour away from my home soon. I have a toddler and have absolutely NO idea how I will make all of this work. My son has been neglected. Some nights i just cry. But Im okay. Ill be okay. All that matters to me is my son. It really sucks to be alone and to go through all of this alone. It also sucks for my son who doesn't have a two parent household. Im not completely opposed to still trying to date but at the same time I have very little time to do so. In addition, the more time passes the more and more cautious I become and the less and less I expect to happen. But that doesn't mean it still can't happen.

I honestly am not sure what else to say. I don't know anyone here. I think I just mainly like to read others posts and respond because I can relate to them as fellow agnostics. Have a great day.

Go with what jloos91 says. Avoid relationships. If you get into a relationship now, because you are "injured" it is likely to be with a rescuer, not a supporter and rescuers try to keep you a victim. Don't get into a relationship till you're strong. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and you will get there. My mum was in your position but she had six kids and she worked three jobs to keep us fed, clothed and pay off a mortgage. Stay strong, you can do it but expect it to be a lonely trip for a while.Good luck.

Concentrate on your new job and keeping that job Save your money and do not worry about dating now, you will have plenty of time for that later. Be the best mom you can be for your son in your current situation. See yourself as a positive role model for your son as you can be. Once you are back on your feet financially you can look for other ways to improve your living and possiblly your job situation thus improving your life with your son.
