He clearly thinks that money is THE most important thing on everyone's minds.

I just can't understand why anyone ever expected more from this guy.

He also can’t conceive of anyone ELSE being motivated by anything but money.

Exactly.

trump is only concern with money and powe!!!

He considers us his customers, not his boss!!!

We are to be taken to the cleaners, gouged, overcharged, raped, stolen from, and charged over the top interest rates for goods and services!!!

This is how the obstructionist republicans politicians, their wealthy owners and their corporations view us completely!!!

We are as nothing but individuals to profit from at any cost, offering us overtly overpriced credit, housing, vehicle while paying the vast majority of us at level of pay from thirty years ago!!!

They have dissipated the middle class wholesale!!!

Having a lot of money is nothing more than an EGO experience. Rich people have more money than they could ever spend on themselves but just keep on screwing other people so they could get more money.

And he thinks people are impressed by money. In many cases that is right. I have talked with people who think that if someone is rich, they must be smart.

Maybe not everybody, but for most people in America that would be true. People shop for recreation or out of boredom in this country. What other countries do this?

I was actually going to ask if he was wrong in that assessment of people, and I agree, many if not most, people are all about the money. But it certainly is not limited to Americans.

@itsmedammit It is pretty much an American thing. Show me photos of the giant shopping malls and outlet malls in the rest of the world.

@Sticks48 I was referring to the desire for money, not necessarily shopping habits. Lots of other countries have big malls, though they are dying. Personally I shop when I want or need something, but not out of boredom. I worked hard for my money and don't like to spend it.

But anyway this is not about shopping. It is about Trump and greed.

@itsmedammit Shopping is part of greed. Owning shit you don't need is greed. Most Americans don't have the means to accumulate money, but they do have credit cards, so they run up their debt buying shit they don't need. Credit card debt in this country is $1.04 TRILLION. This is not true in other societies.

@Sticks48 So don't own stuff. Why are you arguing with me?

@itsmedammit I am not arguing with you, I am pointing out the American culture is not like any other, because it ain't like any other. The rich shop everywhere. Only in America do the middle class and lower middle class shop it's way into unbelievable debt. That is a form of greed.
