I'd disagree there, without the billions that have come from our local mines over the last 120+ years, plus storing Australias Gold Reserve here during BOTH Wars, having the BIGGEST Munitions Factory in Australia during WWII I don't reckon the Australian Economy would had as big a kick-start as it got in the early 20th. Century.

@Triphid I've been up there a couple of times for the rifle competition and through there on my way to cobar. It's not such a bad place but you seem to have your share of ferals.

I spent quite a few years working as a nurse in Adelaide in the 70's plus the best part of a year there in 2000 and Jan. 2001, trust me your 'ferals outweigh ours by a factor of at least 100 to 1 going on per head of population.

@Triphid maybe you're right. I just seem to run into them every time I go through the place. But as you know we have our areas where the police patrol in pairs. Fortunately I'm a bit further north.

@Cyklone Yeah I know where Gawler is, been there, stayed there as well and you've got your fair share of ferals imho, maybe even more than a fair share.
