Break up are hard. Loosing what you thought you'd have for ever... She kept talking about moving but it was just down the street. I ... It ended when she said she wanted to move in with her family living in another state. She never mentioned me. She said she wanted her kids to know her family. Guess that's not me. She said there would be more opportunity. ... I just don't understand why she couldn't tell me the truth. Idk maybe she was but whatever the real reason was... She wasn't coming out with it. That's what hurts the most.

I no longer believe in marriage. Love is real, and feels lasting, until it fades and leaves.. We are primates, no matter how cleverly we attempt to mask it. Observing them, we are tribal, not monogamous.

It’s said family units fare better due to involved parents. I agree, thus never attempt to dissuade youth from attempting to keep it together. Understanding how they feel when it’s good, and when it’s over ..brings a feeling of wisdom to those having experienced both...

Know this - life has in store a multitude of tiny pleasures - and occasional magnificence! So ride out the feelings of loss ..appreciate the little stuff - and stay tuned for that magnificence ~

Sorry to hear Chris. I have a story too. 2 Years ago I connected with someone on Agnostic. He pushed me to sell my house in NH and move to NY with him. In order to sell my house I had to evict 7 people - my daughter, my terminally ill ex-husband of 20 years and 5 others. The legal fees forced me to declare bankruptcy-which I am still paying for and I had to sell the house in a short sale losing $$$. We were living in his tiny apartment and moved into a tiny house. It fell apart. He did not like me as a person. He was not honest with me. He disrespected my home and personal belomgings. He also hated my daughter and tried to sever the relationship as best he could. Needless to say I got a job, saved my earnings, moved out and got my own apartment. Still in NY. Have made many friends here, male and female. Happy with my new life. Wish I had not followed my heart, but everything happens for a reason.....
