Our local Cops are now doing nightly, as well as day-time ones, patrols around town to warn people who are Breaching the Isolation Rules.
Earlier this evening, I was sitting on my front veranda when the neighbourhood Evangeloon and about 7 of his Evangeloon friends started up a Prayer Vigil in his front yard of all places.
About 20 minutes into it, the Cops pulled up and warned them to all depart ASAP or cop a $1,000 fine per person ON THE SPOT, the Cops departed and drove away, about 5 minutes later the Evangeloons started up again and the main line from the Water Meter to his house burst showering them all in water from head to toe, seems that someone, somewhere may be trying to tell them something perhaps....LOL.

Were YOU that "someone somewhere" trying to tell them something? Did you sabotage the nutjob's water line?

Oh, don't answer that - I don't want to cause any legal trouble for you. It just seems a bit suspicious...

No, definitely NOT, I was the one who was almost pissing my pants laughing at them as they got complete saturated though.
Btw, justv heard that HE has to cover the ENTIRE expense of repair/replacement of the water service pipe since it IS on his side of the water meter.
He can't get a Plumber to do the job for under $1,200 and the Plumber ( Yes I was eavesdropping over the fence btw) can't do the job for at least 2 weeks.
Maybe, just a very small maybe that is, I could tell the Evangeloon that there IS a newer and approved Polypipe available that anyone with a modicum of handyman skill can legally install for themselves, I used it 2 years ago when the ancient steel pipe from the water meter to my house finally rusted through.
About $70 for a roll of 50 metres of Polypipe, $10 for the connections, a sharp box-cutter knife, 2 pair of 14" Stilsons wrenches and voila, 3/4 of hour later the jobs done, NO Plumber required and ALL 100% legal.
