It never cease to amaze me, how billionaire find new ways to kill people. Like turning people into greater poverty over a virus that has not reach the top 50 killing virus or diseases. The UN aim is reduce the world population to two billion people. It's a good idea, how bout them dying first?.

The carrying capacity of Earth is much higher than 8 billion. Just not with the current economic systems of fiat currency and authoritarian controls.
UN stated an aim to reduce population, they have no plans for us to see.
I have some friends of mine who work in retail (Macy's, Burlington, exc..) and they've been furloughed from their jobs until their locations reopen.

It's only the top 1 percent.
I have social security and a part time employment that is considered essential. Because of virus fears the job is "iffy" and up and down right now. I have the most seniority in what I do but yet I have the fewest hours. What will happen? Flip a coin.

If you are earning wages (and perhaps even if you are not) you can expect a "Corona check." I'm counting on mine!
It is unlikely the tourism based company my wife and I own will be opening for business this year as the main tourism draw in our area are the river boat day cruises, not likely to see a lot of interest in people wanting to crowd onto a boat after this virus. We had planned on expanding to a second location, hiring some staff to help out, that's all off the table now.

Have you applied for small business funds through the CAREact
@SarahSiddons we don't qualify for funding because we are a new business and in any case the amounts involved are so small that it hardly makes a difference. If we were a big corporation then the funds would already be in our accounts but we aren't big and we will just have to tough it out.
I'm disgusted by the consumerism on display right now. All the corporations trying to get on the bandwagon of "helping".
"Buy a Ford and make no payments for 3 months!" and those revolting Lexus ads
