That quacks me up - never would have thought it lol - i did see a duck stuck in the ice once, it was in the middle of a pond at a park i frequent and it's feet had frozen to the ice - a park officer was coming to his rescue with a very long pole - he broke up the ice around it's feet and it was quickly freed - whew!!!

. . . btw, I once had a goose chase a deer out of my back yard (it got too close to the goslings) -- don't see that every day either

Looks like a Blue Jay but hard to make out. If that's what it is, see them here in my yard. Beautiful birds.
