There are churches which care about their parishioners and communities, like the one across the street from where i live.
Then there are all the #COVIDIOTS who don't care about either; not even themselves.
In my area many churches are having services online. This would seem to solve the current pandemic problems for now and from now on.
Yes, here too as it is illegal to hold public services or gatherings now in BC. But people are still bitching. Ignorance is bliss, at least until your parent, best bud, or love-partner suddenly can't breath. Then it's no longer blissful or an intellectual debate as it still is for some.
Not all religious people are stupid. There are quite a few that have good sense (my older brother, for instance, seems to have more good sense than his stepdaughter that studied dental medicine, go figure this out). I defend that, whatever action you take that doesn't harm others it's fine. However, in these circumstances, I wish I could just say "just go ahead and do it" but it's so easy, as mentioned in this post, others might get infected. Humans...
And there are the Covidiots who say nutty things like the FB poster in my WV town: "Tell me how healthy it is to stay cooped-up! I would rather get this virus and go to a better place." Be my guest, but don't take me with you to your "better place". Unlike that desperate poster, I like this place. I'm staying the F&%# at HOME! Of course, it may have had much to do with just who she was "cooped-up" with.
Hey, like the Covidiots terminology here, mind if I borrow it from time to time?
