American Atheist Convention this past week-end was amazing. With all the BS going down in the government and unthinkable breaching of the wall of separation that has been going on, AA has come up with how we, the people, can reverse the course. Starting at the grass roots level, going after School Board positions, unified protests, going after local Board positions, engaging our like-minded organizations who recognize the need for the separation. These organizations can be Planned Parenthood or others that are not necessarily "Atheist" groups.

The combination of Atheists and people who identify as "No Religion" is the largest voting bloc in America. Standing up and voting, setting up voter registration tables, and actively encouraging people to get out and vote is going to make the difference.

Anyone interested can contact me and I will get you to the right people to support you, whereever you are, to make the difference! Contact me!

Anyone in AR that wants to work with AA and me, let me know. We have an official state representative and I am one of many assistant State Representatives. You can be one too!

Especially want to thank Agnostic.com for being at the conference, for the huge financial donation they made in supporting it and in providing bar drinks at the after hours events. You ROCK!!

There are a lot of active and great groups. I have been to 5 of the FFRF conventions and am an after-life member. The next convention is in San Francisco and I plan on going. I also support the Humanists. The problem is there are so many one has to choose. I would rather put more time and money in a couple than water down my resources among many. But if the American Atheists had a gathering within driving range I would definately go.

I agree about finding the organization that speaks to you, and participating there. This movement includes all our FFRF, Humanist, and etc. etc. groups. If we come together we are a mighty force!
