Got on my states list for volunteers medical personal as back up in emergencies . I served my country in the army medical corp . Felt it was the right thing to do now. I may not be called up but if this goes bad its the least i can do.

That's great man. I'm hoping I can make it to the shore this summer. Wouldn't want the summer season to be bad for tourism this year in Wildwood and Lewes. The local economy depends on it. You're a wonderful guy to offer to help. Stay safe tho, you're in that highly vulnerable demographic

Your age makes me believe you served in Vietnam. A tip of my hat to you. I was also a Combat Medic there. This tread reveals a classic problem with America today & @Cutiebeauty response is the problem. The young are all about themselves. Those of us in our age group are prime candidates to die from COVID-19.
Every day I am a little more disgusted with the US today.

My remark was, sometimes one has to step up for their country even if you risk yourself. I don't feel your generation understands that. For example, Spring Break in Florida.

@ChurchLess I step up for my family first and foremost... Spring break? Has nothing to do with me... Those kids are in college... Should they drop out, forget taking a break, and join the military? And patriotism isn't even the main topic here... It's a health crisis... If you don't like America, just say that.. You don't need to conflate different topics... Good day...
