I don't know that gender has so much to do with it as long as s/he has concern for one's citizens, is proactive in solving problems, and bases her/his decisions on science, facts and critical thinking.
Jacinta has been the most effective leader for me. No pudding about. Firm on her decision making. I’m not aware of any Trumpian or British wafting.

I recall an European (Denmark ? ) woman leader, who was one of the only countries that prevented most of the economic downturns in 2008.
