Human EMPATHY - not shooting the messengers ,BUT
the message... Nothing will change if if we don't apply the lessons learned. We should (and will come out stronger)
realize we are being exposed to something that ,along with other threats to humanity ,could hit at any given time!
Our COLLECTIVE RESISTENCE IS IMPROVED- do I wish we handled it better ^ YES ^ ; yet we know flus of this type are hammering at the DOOR ! I truely wish (2 of my nieghbors may have been victims)that we would have NEVER EXPERIENCED THIS ! Thier (and others) sacrifice is in vain IF we do NOT take future preparedness steps that change a future CRISIS(of whatever sort).
Short of living in a bubble‍‍ our life has consequences. Humans ( I am told ) have an AWFUL blind spot when it comes to future RISK offsetting ,,,in short we cannot feel the benifit of a catastrophe PREVENTED - THIS IS A MENTAL GLITCH ,,,a condition that is ENDEMIC, becouse WE ALL have it to some degree. Yet we have to fight to overcome our VERY NATURE and improve our CHANCES to all lead better lives.
