Instead the press is going to publicize the sensational. Most of the public realizes that whole cities are not burning when the news talks about a house fire but protests are different.

I have told people online: the vast majority of protests are peaceful and without major incident. But they don’t make headlines or “Breaking News” standards. Explosions, burning buildings and smoke filled streets full of running looters get much more viewer interest. Media is a whore, looking for what brings in the eyes and money. And those watching Fox News, they may never see a peaceful protest on the news. That doesn’t mean they are not the rule rather than the exception.
