I was never religious so can't tell. I think it is no different.

I wouldn’t expect assistance from a God or religious leader to help solve martial problems, nor to tell me what kind of love or behavior is acceptable.

As someone who was raised Roman Catholic (high mass and everything) I will say this: The "me" that I was in those times never understood love fully, because so much of it was tied to fear. You love and honor your parents, or you will burn in hell. You love and obey God, or you will burn in hell. You love someone in a relationship, but they'd better be the of the proper gender and same the faith, or you'll burn in hell. Breaking away from religion is never easy and some scars never fully disappear, but one of the more liberating aspects was to know that love didn't come with an eternal punishment for not doing it correctly.

As I've always been a non theist, I can't really say from experience. However, I'm pretty sure we all love in the same manner though the theist sees something as love that just isn't.

I don't know. I would think the feeling is the same but the interpretation would be different. However, the interpretation is different for each individual regardless.

I suspect A, or non theists view love in a more biological sense than any ‘biblical depiction.’ We know, and more often acknowledge that it can wear out, then go away.. The Religious treat it as a mandate from their god … likely a never-ending shared sin

I’d taken it as a forever thing.. and feel burned by a longtime partner who didn’t… She’d even said, “You didn’t really believe that ‘till death do we part thing?” ...problem was, I had.. Now, I view love as an evolving relationship; if it can’t evolve, it fades.

Love is not somthing you have any control over - it just happens and it can be dangerous.

Obviously so as theists relate everything by god and non-theists have no god to relate anything.
