The world has a big problem that many people do not have food security. When a person is hungry they will eat almost anything edible. If the USA would ship more food to poor countries rather than weapons we might fix this problem. But I suppose there is more profit in weapons than there is in food.

Africa have food shortages but they're not slaughtering dogs and cats or even pangolins for that matter China has enough money to feed their people. ...but you're right, there's enough to feed the world's hungry than trade arms that kill the starving human beings. If you can remember, when Bush threw food bags during the day and rained missiles on them at night. This in Afghanistan and Iraq.
I'm suspecting that the outbreak has come directly from the food source - Pangolins
