Happiness is overrated. I think a hedonistic lifestyle is rather empty. Fulfillment makes more sense to me.

I think that just depends on how you define words. To my mind fulfillment, is much more aligned to what I would mean by happiness than hedonism anyway.

@Fernapple Yes, I think they go together. I believe that real happiness is emergent from fulfillment. You can chase everywhere looking for happiness but fulfillment is a much more concrete and defineable state that may differ by person but people have a better idea of what may give them a feeling of fulfillment. Searching for just happiness could merely be shooting up a different drug.
