The drump admin reminds me more & more of cockroaches, in that when you shine a light on them they scurry away.
Latest example, sending unasked-for "paramilitary" to Portland, which made things Much worse. Now they are being withdrawn as media attention, the Governor, & brave protestors refused to back down.

And as, “The federal government owns 53.03 percent of Oregon's total land” … they’ve got to stick it to em occasionally. And if there’s not a convenient or legitimate occasion, they’ll make one

State Police arrived in Portland last evening as the feds left, and the protests continued on a much better level. The small destructive group was dealt with more effectively by peaceful protesters.

i've heard that it wasn't so much a matter of him backing down but rather he plans to up the ante by pulling the fed agents out of Portland and sending them to other cities and replace them with national guard to really crack down on the demonstrations.

According to google- "the president can activate the National Guard and place it under federal control."
Hopefully the guard will defy the order.
