In the 2017 book The Anti-Fascist handbook, author Mark Bray makes a clear statement that the loose collective known as ANTIFA are opposed to liberals/liberalism on the grounds that they believe a more liberal and tolerant take on the matters is what's directly responsible for all of the perceived fascist ills in society. Where would we be today without classic liberalism?? That's a rather fascist take unto itself.
ANTIFA and their ilk could go fuck themselves. One could be both liberal and against fascism at the same time. That meme is appropriate, they are just a bunch of self-righteous masturbators.

Even Bill Barr said that in his Congressional hearing last week. Its an umbrella term for a loose, uncoordinated confederation of leftist organizations. There is no single organization as Antifa akin to the Aryan Brotherhood or the KKK.
For what it is worth, I watched the entire Barr hearing so no second hand spin please.

@TheInterlooper I am sue we have all seen videos where the guy who was acting as "antifa" turns out to be a far right yahoo trying to incite violent conflict.
@TheInterlooper Here is another, in addition to the other links. This one doesn't say antifa specifically, but it is a white supremicist stoking violence in an otherwise peaceful protest.
