Welcome! Agnostic.com is a broad community of non-believers with some features of a dating site (profiles, nearby "matches" ). The dating aspect works more like "in real life" than your average dating site; you meet people mostly around common interests (perhaps hundreds of groups now on every conceivable topic) and/or similarity in thinking (debates are constantly churning). The more you participate in the community, the more people you meet. The point system is just there to keep bots, scammers, and trolls to a relative minimum.

Yes, true love has been known to happen on this site. I came quite close myself (15-month LDR ultimately not workable), and a formerly long-distance couple who met here now live near me. That said, I think it makes sense to consider it a community first and a dating site second.
