I am not surprised. They took down a hashtag that was demanding the fall of the president of Egypt many times before. Arab leaders can't take criticism. they look for ways to silence people like persecution.

Not a place I'd ever visit.

Another power grab.

Saudi Arabia is run by adherents of Wahabbism, their Islamic form of evangelicalism. It has spawned the Taliban, Daesh, El Shabob, and numerous others. The US supports these guys, who paid for the 911 attack, while demonizing other groups that are not near as dangerous.

Netflix has an excellent documentary on Saudi Arabia. A true shithole and backward country.

It hasn't changed since I was there in 1980, then

@Paul_Clamberer I had to go there to do business until 2012, and hated every second of witnessing all the crap they do and get away with just because of the oil.

I would only do Netflix if I could turn-off the tracking . . . 😛

@Mofo1953 I haven't ever been there. I was briefly in Oman, one of their spheres of influence in the 80's and that wasn't pleasant. I've had people who I trust tell me about being in Saudis Arabia and Iran, since the revolution - they said that while you may be safer from the Saudia government than the Iranian government, the two peoples couldn't be any different as the Iranians show great affection for Americans (most of those involved in anti-American protests are government workers who need to get paid) and the Saudis people who are just as apt to spit on you in public.

@Beowulfsfriend Watch the documentary then.

Guess what, with the UK coming out of Europe the US are not the only Country keen to do trade deals. Wish us not in charge well.

Although not in the EU, isn't the UK still in Europe ? 🙂

Just a bunch of crooks they all are.

Considering that the Saudis are the second-largest shareholder on Twitter, is it really that surprising?

And I just got a 'warning' from FBI, for saying "That bitch is cray-cray", about
Kimberly Guilfoyle.

@FearlessFly Yeah, wow cray cray indeed.

So now the FBI is making sure nobody hurts Kimberly’s feelings? Wow, just wow!!

@Redheadedgammy They said it was because I called her a bitch. LOL

@KKGator huh🙄😬. That's heavy.
