Crazy philosophy

1

"It's idiotic" would be my reason for not sharing it.

Ironically number 2 works for all the workers who are making the inherited rich richer.

So many rich people actually don't work. Many of them inherit millions and let someone else manage it for them.

America is full of the working poor but the rich pay them so poorly the government already has to supplement their income to keep them from starving. That means the middle class workers who pay a lot larger of portion of their income in taxes are subsidizing the rich.

Again I will say many people who vote the Republican ticket claim their religious views require it when it's really their greed and selfishness that require it.

At least the original poster admits it but it is truly sad hes not ashamed of his motives.

Why do Christians feel so entitled? Why don’t they follow Christ’s teachings?

Never mind answering. I’ve attended a couple of whatever they call their Sunday gatherings. It’s all about one’s personal relationship with Christ, nothing about loving and respecting all beings, as Christ purportedly did.

Because Jesus died on the cross for them and that makes them really special! 😳

@Namaste But he died for all of humanity! Oh never mind…

I'd like to hear what your thoughts on it were.

Here's mine

  1. We don't need to legislate the wealthy out of prosperity to legislate the poor into prosperity. There is enough for all.

  2. Okay, true but what's wrong with that. People give without receiving all the time. We do it for our children and elders and needy neighbors. Why can't that same concept be applied on a macro level for society as a whole?

  3. The government isn't the only powerful organization that takes from people. There are millions who work harder than most but do not receive what is needed to live a basic decent life because of the greed of the owner class. Why can't the government step in to even out this imbalance caused by capitalism?

  4. This is a silly notion. Dividing wealth does not diminish the total amount of wealth. It simply spreads it amongst more people. The total amount of wealth is not reduced, it has more opportunity to grow this way because more people have more buying power.

  5. Where does this idea of half the people feeling like they don't need to work come from? The vast majority of people who receive financial aid of any kind from the government are working but still can't afford to live or have worked and earned it. The number of people who would refuse to work due to fear that someone else may benefit from it is tiny. The vast majority are not that greedy and actually take pride in the idea that their labor helps others who are less fortunate.

There are very good reasons not to share this garbage. And there is a very good reason to share it, as you did, to demonstrate the greed of these right wing supposed christians.

Very well put

Sounds like a childlike defense of usury.
