Were Mr. Serling still with us, he'd say, "I warned you. I fought bravely against fascism in WW2, and in my show I warned how fascism can take hold in the US, if you give in and allow it to happen. " I suspect he would be shocked but not surprised at Trump.
@RichCC a lot of people from his WW2 generation were addicted to cigarettes, given freely and plentifully to them by their government while in service. When I check actors and other famous people from that generation who served, a lot died comparatively young, obviously smoking related causes. Sadly, he was one of them.
