All I know is that that majority of Congress are bought off by the rich and corporations, and thus are unresponsive to us peasants.

You can say that again.

It needs to be said as much as possible because there are too many people who do not understand that simple concept.

@RoboGraham Oh, I think there are plenty of Dems, even liberal Dems, who get it, but aren't willing to admit it to themselves much less admit it to progressives. I've had plenty of people argue with me about it, but I still believe in my bones that this is the main reason for people not voting in federal elections, because they've figured out it's rigged and useless, so they don't bother. It's obvious that if fed level elections were not so dominated by big money, then we would have much higher voting rates for those elections.

Absolutely

I figured it out between this cycle and the last one and my enthusiasm to vote has never been lower, not even close. If there weren't a vote by mail option, I wouldn't bother. It's seems really pointless.
