Mitch McConnell said, "An outgoing president -- even one with 11 months left in office -- couldn't make a court pick due to its lifetime tenure." But I guess he no longer believes that.

Moscow Mitch never believed that. He's a liar in Trump's league.

While I'm sure he is more than capable of the most convincing double think I'm sure he would simply explain "Trump is not an outgoing President" and leave it at that.

What's getting me through tonight is believing that enough Republican senators will grow a conscience that we'll be able to stop this. I'm contacting mine tomorrow to say just that.

I doubt any of them will have the capacity to do the right thing motivated by their own conscience but the threat of pissing off voters right before the election could make them think twice.
