"The End Justifies The Means"

This thinking seems to be behind, or part of, much of the madness that is driving the right wing attempted takeover of the US Government.

Examples: Antifa (or BLM, or liberals, or "Obamacare" or Pelosi or socialism or Biden or whatever is the demon-du-jour) are supposedly so awful that we "have to" go to some extreme legal measure or other, even noting that the measures taken by the right wing may be in violation of the law or changes to the law harmful to the letter and spirit of the Constitution.
