Talk about fantastic irony or truly lovely poetic justice!!!! Republicans have been doing everything they can to create chaos in the election, But the Trump's arrogant stupidity has created more chaos for them than they could have imagined. At the very least Trump will be out of circulation for days at the very least and may become seriously ill and need much more recovery time. A number of Trump's operatives and top Republican politicians have caught the but from Trump's circle and the bug is likely to spread even more widely among them.

It is now unlikely that the Senate will be able to approve his Supreme Court nominee before the election. This alone should make it appear among many of Trump's stupidly loyal supporters that this chaos is due to Trumps ongoing abysmal wrong headed decision-making. Oh, happy days!!

I wouldn't call it "happy days". People are not feeling settled with all of this going on. To see our very own leaders falling victim to this sickness is a stark reminder of the failure of national biodefense despite billions and billions of spending over a very long haul on the very cause. Where did this money go? Why did we have no prepared national response at the onset? How will we manage if future mutations bring on worse mortality rates? There are more questions too, but it just gets more disturbing as you think about it.

Too much spent on creating national paranoia requiring colossal military spending?

@FrayedBear I agree with colossal spending, but what is "too much spent on creating national paranoia"?

@Flowerwall the reason for the excessive spending has arisen through such campaigns to create paranoia inducing bogeymen such as Russians, Communists, Catholics etc.

My wife and I celebrated POTUS predicament this morning with blueberry-walnut pancakes. Um-um good.

It's a publicity stunt. He's trying to shed criticism and garner sympathy.

No way. This is disasterous for the idiot Trump and the Republicans.

@wordywalt I'll only believe it if he dies

@barjoe if he dies he's probably faking it to escape jail time or the touch of Putin's poison finger when his debts come due.
