Family members sometimes get to make the compassionate choice about when their loved one dies. None of us is making a choice regarding DT, compassionate or not. DT did have some choice in his current life and eventual death, but that is now in the past. I see nothing wrong with hoping or wishing that the fates he set in motion, at least end compassionately for our fellow citizens. We can tie all manner of social horrors and deaths to DT and his leadership, with zero chance of that not getting worse. His death will help not hurt, plain and simple.

I leave it in the lap of the gods.
