The Repubs are glad to at least give them rhetoric and judicial appointments in exchange for their votes and money because it doesn't cost their corporate and fat cat donors anything at all to do so. Those donors don't give a damn about abortion policy or having judges that are religious nuts because their women and daughters will always be able to get abortions.
