I heard a rumor during the confirmation process of Amy Coney Barrett about her inability to identify the five freedoms guaranteed by the first amendment. I dismissed this as just that, a rumor, because it was inconceivable to me that a Supreme Court nominee, even one nominated by Trump, would be that ignorant of the basics of the Constitution.

Turns out, it's true. She forgot that the first amendment guarantees citizens the ability to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Some of my 9th grade civics students could have given better answers to this question.

Not only is she ideological, she simply isn't qualified for the position. And yet, she has a lifetime appointment. This is not a government that functions properly.

Anyone who puts their god before country should not be qualified and should be impeached if already installed on the GOP theocracy/plutocracy.

She's completely unqualified for this position. Her best attribute for Republicans is her willingness to vote against Roe vs. Wade and The Affordable Care Act.

"The permanent record of the 48-year-old former Notre Dame law school professor is in direct proportion with her resume, which is strikingly thin for someone nominated to a lifetime position on the Supreme Court. By almost any objective measure, Barrett is the most inexperienced person nominated to the Supreme Court since 1991, when President George H.W. Bush nominated Clarence Thomas, then just 43, to replace the legendary Thurgood Marshall."
