Down the street from me is a family of non-working dopers. Earlier this year the father of the one who runs the household died of a drug overdose. Others were moved in after that. I think there are two families with kids there and the cops are often visiting too. I'm sure money is drawn on the children and maybe government subsidies even pay the rent. They have two vehicles and each one has a window broken out and crudely covered. You can bet they also have guns.
