So I just phoned my mom to share my two-cents about the Maga March in Washington DC.

She suggested... her excact words were, "You should really I stay away from the news for the next two months or you're going to have a friggin' heart attack"

I've seen pictures of the protest - thousands of idiots no masks and standing in shoulder to shoulder. They think the pandemic is a hoax. tRump thinks he is tough just wait until mother nature has her say.

It's not like she's wrong, but I'm keeping a close eye on all of this.
I have zero trust for 45, his enablers, and his ignorant supporters.
I don't put anything past any of them.

There isn't anything you can do about it, so if it upsets you, she's right. I chose to be informed. I don't like the element of surprise, so I chose to keep abreast of what's going on.

Here is a little background on what his mom is talking about.

Mom is talking about ignoring this story because it's upsetting. This is not what mom is talking about. This was Trump's plan all along. Good link.

I agree with her completely. At this point, I am only interested in the final outcome which we probably won't know until Jan. 20. Until the election is completely over, decided and implemented, everything said is just speculation, hyperbole, dis-information, propaganda, really nothing to concern myself about. Your mileage may vary.

This particular thing is Stop The Steal and goes back to 2016 and has a Roger Stone connection. Trump even said that he was going to stop by the DC protest today.

@lynn37 When you underestimate the fascist nature of Trumpism, it's the same as supporting it.

@barjoe Your opinion is noted, nonsensical as it may be.

@jlynn37 I think you're nonsensical. If you voted for Trump, that fine. If you support his post election behavior, you support a fascist overthrow of our democracy. Congratulations!

@barjoe Wow, what a speculative assumption.

@jlynn37 Exactly.

Problem is, Mom....it's almost impossible to avoid it because it's everywhere...sneaking in under the doors, sliding along the sills, spreading along the streets....literally everywhere.
