Nobody is better at securing PPE than Trump, and there's 74,222,576 people you can ask and not one more.

Just in time for the 2nd wave
.

4th?

@JeffMurray won't be a 4th wave..vaccine coming..

@Charlene Most news sources agree we're already in the third. The general public won't be fully vaccinated until like June. I'd hold my bet there won't be a 4th wave if I were you...

@JeffMurray I'm in 3rd group to be vaccinated in February here in Massachusetts..The entire state should be vaccinated by end of April..though masking will be suggest, which I'll do.

@Charlene Your state already has the order mapped out for everyone? My hospital hasn't even disclosed the order yet for employees. Still, there's a good chance there will be a 4th wave before April (or at least the month when bigger states are done).
Plus, you're not taking into account the percentage of people that are going to refuse the vaccine added to the approximate 30% fail rate of the estimated immunogenicity of 70%. Even if 10% refuse the vaccine, that leaves 37% of the population vulnerable post country-wide vaccination. If it gets close to 30% refusal you'll get to 50% of the population still being vulnerable.

And this is all ignoring the possibility that the immunity from the vaccine may not last significantly longer than the immunity from recovering from the virus itself and/or that it doesn't mutate and become a yearly thing that kicks our asses.

@JeffMurray wow, you in a Red State?.. the Pfizer/Moderna vaccines aren't viral based. They're Genetically constructed to attack specific areas on Covid 19.Which is why it's administered in 2 doses..which extends its efficacy, They have no idea if it's a one time dose or if it'll need to be yearly.

@Charlene Unfortunately I am. Ohio. Not sure what vaccine my hospital is getting. We start vaccinations next week from what I was told, but they, sorry, we still don't know the order, or when it will be available to all the non-healthcare citizens.

@JeffMurray sorry to hear that, hasn't your HHS announced the method of distributing the vaccine...forgot your in a Red state..
